Dr Koh is a gentle-natured, kind, and highly skilled clinician with extensive experience across all areas of dentistry—especially pediatric care, dental implants, wisdom‑tooth surgery, and Invisalign.
As our lead Dentist, Dr Koh is an experienced, gentle and a multi-talented clinician.
In the early 80s, Dr Koh migrated to Australia with his parents. He graduated from Christ Church Grammar School in 1988 and undertook his Dentistry passion at the University of Western Australia.
After completion of the degree, Dr Koh decided to further his dental education and clinical development in Singapore for 10 years. Whilst in Singapore, Dr Koh sought opportunities to advance his skills in dentistry, he broadened and deepened his knowledge culturally in the profession, unique to his background.
In 2005, Dr Koh returned to home town Perth with his learned experiences and expertise. His vast knowledge that strikes a chord, beyond his years, and charismatic smile, is also key to his humour and very noteworthy.
For the most part, Dr Koh’s patients know him as a gentle-natured, kind and highly skilled dentist. Because of the wide range of exposure to different cultures, Dr Koh thoroughly enjoys conversations with people, loves to hear your stories and shares your laughter.
Dr Kay brings exceptional empathy and a calming presence, particularly for anxious or younger patients. She holds qualifications in dento-facial aesthetics and implant techniques from Miami University and AADFA.
Graduating from Adelaide University with Bachelor of Dental Surgery, is underpinned by her warm smile, with her love, care, empathy and compassion for you and your loved ones.
Throughout her years, Dr Kay has worked diligently to broaden her dental skills and has an inbuilt passion to help the broader community. Dr Kay takes a special interest in helping our patients overcome anxiety by treating each patient individually and tailors treatment to your specific needs. With multiple years of experience, in all aspects of dentistry, Dr Kay understands and empathises with dental phobia and anxiety.
Consistently, Dr Kay provides a high level of knowledge which will allow you to make informative decisions to achieve your oral health goals. With a collaborative understanding, Dr Kay is also particularly gentle with our younger patients, making parents feel at ease with their children’s dental visits.
Dr Kay, with her thoroughness and compassion, will see your overall health needs as priority to help you achieve optimal oral health.
Originally from the Netherlands, Steff brings a warm smile and soothing demeanour that immediately sets patients at ease. She expertly handles both chairside assisting and front-of-house duties, using her extensive knowledge to respond clearly and efficiently to patient questions.
With over 15 years experience in dental nursing, Steff has been an exceptional addition to our team at Hulme Court Dental and Implant Centre.
Born and raised in the Netherlands, famously known for their tulip fields and wooden windmills, Steff finally settled in Australia with her partner since 2018 for better work opportunities. They have explored Australia’s many spectacular wonders, making lifelong memories, which she would be keen to share with you.
Cheerful and always presenting herself with a lovely smile and a soothing voice, you will find Steff particularly approachable and reassuring. Steff takes pride in every aspect of her life which has enabled her to grow into a reliable and even-tempered mature woman. Steff takes responsibility in both reception and chairside assisting. With her vast dental knowledge and willingness to help, you will find your questions answered with efficiency and clarity.

Janis transitioned from animal to human dentistry, driven by a passion for caring. Her gentle nature, empathetic approach, and bright sense of humour create a calming and supportive environment—especially for children.
Starting her career in health care with animal studies and vet nursing, She soon realised that her true passion lies in caring for people.
Since then a new door has opened, not only for us at Hulme Court Dental and Implant Centre, but also for Janis.
After joining our team, you’ll continually notice she always brings a sense of calm and tranquility wherever she goes, with her bright vibrant smile.
